Our selected drama recaps are an effort to try to bridge the cultural gap between Japan, her people and the rest of the world. The recaps themselves are an insufficient means to learn everything there is to know about Japan; however, it is invaluable to see the country through the eyes of her screenwriters and directors. For our part, based on our limited knowledge, we will explain and/or clarify as many cultural sticking points as possible. We hope to satisfy many of your educational and cultural needs.
